The Taipei European Winter Festival returns to the heart of Taipei’s Xinyi District for four festive days, bringing the spirit and magic of a European Christmas to one of the city’s most iconic and vibrant destinations.
After welcoming more than 500,000 visitors in 2025, the festival is expanding once again in 2026, across three major venues — Xiangti Avenue Plaza, VieShow Plaza and Breeze Nanshan Plaza (信義22號廣場) — creating our biggest celebration of European culture, gastronomy and Christmas traditions yet.
This year also marks the launch of our very first Mulled Wine Garden: a large open-air wine garden dedicated to the European festive season, where visitors can enjoy mulled wine and other beverages alongside European food, delicacies and seasonal specialties in a warm and convivial atmosphere.
Visitors will also discover the traditional European Christmas Market, the Santa House, cultural activities and an even richer entertainment program. Our Main Stage will be packed with extraordinary performances throughout the four days — all completely FREE for the public!
The festival is co-organized by the Association des Français de Taiwan (AFT), the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Taipei City Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the French Office in Taipei, the European Economic and Trade Office (EETO), European representative offices in Taiwan, and the European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan (ECCT).
Together, these partners bring Europe’s diverse cultures, traditions and communities to the heart of Taipei.
Our mission remains unchanged: to share the festive spirit of Christmas while celebrating European cultures, gastronomy, craftsmanship and traditions — and bringing people together in a warm and joyful atmosphere.
For a good cause
The most important missions of the 2022 European Christmas Market is to promote the Christmas spirit of solidarity in Taiwan, bring the Taiwanese public closer to our European communities, and share love by including the children in need.
AFT is a non-profitable organization. All earnings AFT makes from the event will be donated to:
